IESNA LM-80

Title: IESNA Approved Method For Measuring Lumen Maintenance of LED Light Sources
Purpose: To provide the methods of the measurement for lumen maintenance of sources including LED packages, arrays and modules only. Performance in a particular application may be different. This approved method does not provide guidance or make any recommendation regarding predictive estimations or extrapolation for lumen maintenance beyond the limits of the lumen maintenance determined from actual measurements.

Photometry Test

IESNA LM-79

Title: IESNA Approved Method for the Electrical and Photometric Measurements of Solid State Lighting Products Purpose: To describe the procedures to be followed and precautions to be followed and precautions to be observed in performing reproducible measurements of total luminous flux, electrical power, luminous intensity distribution, and chromaticity of LED products for illumination purposes. This approved method includes LED based products with control electronics and heat sinks incorporates, that is, devices that require only AC main power or a DC voltage power supply to operate.

Chromaticity

ANSI C78.377

Title: Specifications for the Chromaticity of Solid State Lighting Products
Purpose: To specify the range of chromaticity recommended for general lighting with LED products, as well as to ensure that the white light chromaticity of the products can be communicated to consumers. The chromaticity requirement in this standard is for general indoor lighting applications. This standard does not cover LED products for outdoor applications.
