Additional data for developers is available for download, in addition to characteristic curves for LEDs
OSRAM Opto Semiconductors has extended its’ online customer portal LED Information Base (LIB). In addition to the characteristic curves for LEDs, which are still available in Excel format, the portal will now also offer Rayfiles in a range of formats, electrical simulation models and package CAD files as direct downloads.
Previously you had to select the desired LED in the LIB to obtain the corresponding characteristic curves as raw data in an Excel file. Following the expansion, Rayfiles in such formats as ASAP, LightTools, LucidShape or Photopia are now available for download, along with electrical simulation models (SPICE) and package CAD files. This makes it even easier for customers to obtain the technical information they require for the development of an LED lighting solution. They can select products to access a clear display and download the information directly in the desired format.
The online portal includes technical information on OSRAM’s entire LED portfolio within the visible wavelength range and is continually being extended. Thanks to the clearly structured service tool, a few clicks are all that is required to access all the necessary information on LED applications in the fields of automotive, industrial, consumer and general lighting. This eliminates the need to search through individual files and documents to find the data needed and physically write it down – making life a great deal easier for the product developers that utilize OSRAM’s LEDs.
