Agreements signed with Arrow Central Europe, Sarnikon and Solicomp
At electronica 2014, OSRAM Opto Semiconductors signed extended distribution contracts with three long-standing partners. Greater cooperation will expand the sales network inside and outside Europe further and safeguard the high level of on-site customer contact and support. Another objective of the Regensburg-based high-tech company is to distribute its products as quickly and as extensively as possible in order to promote continual growth as planned.
Arrow Central Europe and OSRAM Opto Semiconductors have been a successful team for a number of years. The semiconductor distributor has managed to expand the dynamic opto market step by step thanks to the continuity and excellence of its customer relations and its ability to incorporate customer requirements in the early stages of development. The two companies are continuing their successful cooperation as they extend the franchise to the countries in Eastern Europe that haven’t previously been covered. Arrow will now market OSRAM Opto Semiconductors’ products in the non-EU countries of Ukraine, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Russia, Belorus, Turkey, Israel and Kazakhstan.
Sarnikon Metal VE and OSRAM Opto Semiconductors have been working together now for two and a half years. The new distribution agreement covers sales of the entire OSRAM product portfolio in Turkey. In addition to LED components and modules from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, Sarnikon is offering customer-specific LED modules and appropriate heat sinks. The Turkish company provides rapid shipment within the country and consultative support for developing customer-specific LED lighting solutions and for answering technical queries.
Solicomp, headquartered in Geretsried near Munich, has been distributing obsolete parts and surplus inventory from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors worldwide for a number of years. The contract signed at electronica now authorizes the company to market the entire product portfolio of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors throughout Europe.
