IESNA LM-79

Title: IESNA Approved Method for the Electrical and Photometric Measurements of Solid State Lighting Products
Purpose: To describe the procedures to be followed and precautions to be followed and precautions to be observed in performing reproducible measurements of total luminous flux, electrical power, luminous intensity distribution, and chromaticity of SSL products for illumination purposes. This approved method includes LED based products with control electronics and heat sinks incorporates, that is, devices that require only AC main power or a DC voltage power supply to operate.

chrome-sml > Chromaticity
ANSI C78.377
Title: Specifications for the Chromaticity of Solid State Lighting Products
Purpose: To specify the range of chromaticity recommended for general lighting with SSL products, as well as to ensure that the white light chromaticity of the products can be communicated to consumers. The chromaticity requirement in this standard is for general indoor lighting applications. This standard does not cover SSL products for outdoor applications.
