OSLON SSL Horticultural Lighting
OSRAM Opto Semiconductors’ OSLON SSL LEDs with their efficiency of 37%, is among the most efficient light sources on the market in the deep red range (660 nm wavelength). For plants to grow well in greenhouses they need the right temperature and also the right light. Light in the deep red spectrum plays an important role in plant growth because the absorption of chlorophyll in this red range is very high. OSLON SSL now provide this deep red light with particularly high efficiency with typical power of 330 mW at an operating current of 400 mA. OSRAM Opto Semiconductors is showing the OSTAR SMT LED at the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair. This LED is able to deliver extremely high luminance and luminous flux due to Thinfilm and ThinGaN chip architecture. It also has glass window protection with anti-reflection coating (ARC) on the output window. It is ideal for architectural lighting, mood lighting, projection, high-power flashlights and stage lighting.

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors is showing the OSRAM OSTAR Lighting Plus LED at the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair.
