Flexible LED Street Lighting With OSRAM Opto Semiconductors
Luminaire manufacturer Arquiled is launching a new line of street luminaires that will feature semiconductor components from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors. Not only will the luminaire feature OSRAM Opto Semiconductors’ energy efficient LEDs, but it will also be fitted with an ambient light sensor. This sensor provides intelligent light management and reduces energy costs at the same time by automatically adjusting the brightness of the LEDs to an appropriate setting for any situation. With the combined efficiency and energy savings of both OSRAM Opto Semiconductor components, local governments have an opportunity to achieve significant cost savings.
